Monroe, NC- Women's golf took on the Jerry Surratt Memorial hosted by Wingate this week. The team finished 9th overall out of the 16 team tournament field. Wingate won the tournament with a team score 880 (+14).

The Lady Splitters were led by Lauren Martin, shooting 80-73-75 for a 10-over finish. Both Martin and Carley Downhour would shoot a team low round of 73 in the tournament.

The team will return to the course next week for the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee Tech at the Sevierville Golf Club, March 17th through the 19th.
