Wingate, NC - The Lincoln Memorial women's basketball team will travel to Wingate, NC to face the Wingate Bulldogs Saturday, with tip-off slated for 2 pm.

There is quite a lengthy history between the two teams, as this will be their 42nd time facing each other. Wingate is winning the series. with LMU having 13 wins and 28 losses in the series. This will be the second time this season that the two teams will compete, as their most recent match up was at home, where the Lady Railsplitters fell short 58-62. The last time that LMU and Wingate played at Wingate was in December of 2023, where Lincoln Memorial defeated the Bulldogs 68-62. 

Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 79-77 overtime win against Emory & Henry. Kamil Collier and Caroline Sikkink were the game-leaders in scoring, posting 18 points each. Lexi Patty recorded her first double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds. 

Currently, Alexa Smiddy is leading the team in points, averaging 14.2 points per game. Collier is less than a point behind her at 13.5 points per game. Collier is the team-leader in rebounds with 10.1 rebounds per game, while Patty is behind her with 5.3 rebounds per game. 

Collier's 10.1 rebounds places her in second in the conference in rebounds per game, is just 0.4 away from first. Collier is first in the conference in defensive rebounds per game with 6.8 per game and fourth in the conference in offensive with 3.3 offensive rebounds per game. Smiddy is second in the conference in assists, averaging 4.4 assists per game. Tanner is third in the conference in 3-pointers made with 36, 4 threes away from being first in the conference. 

As a team, Lincoln Memorial is fourth in the conference in free-throw percentage with a percentage of 73.1%. They are second in three-pointers made with 127, and second in free-throws made with 196.

Wingate is coming off of a 67-70 loss against Catawba. 

Lincoln Memorial's record is 8-9 overall and 7-7 in the SAC, and LMU is currently sitting in 7th in the SAC standings. Wingate record is 10-7 overall and 9-4 in the SAC, and the Bulldogs are sitting in 3rd in the SAC standings.
