Five Men's Soccer Players Earn All-Conference Selections

Rock Hll, SC - Five men's soccer players earn South Atlantic Conference All-Conference Selections: Gian-Carlo Kama and Ronan O'Mahony Blondel were named first team, Szymon Sokolnicki was named second team, and Enrique Martin and Daniel Benedek Miklosi were named third team.

Kama was named a First Team All-Conference forward. Kama has had a strong 2025 season, scoring 7 goals and earning 14 points during the regular season, ranking second in the conference in both categories. He is only one out of two field players for the Railspitters to start all 15 matches during the 2025 regular season and logged 978 minutes. Kama ranked fifth in shots with 24. His season highlights include scoring twice at Catawba to help the team come back from 2-0 down to win 3-2, and a hat trick in a 4-3 back-and-forth win over Carson-Newman. Kama has also been named SAC Offensive Player of the Week twice and became the first LMU men's soccer player to earn Tennessee Sports Writers Association Player of the Week.

O'Mahony Blondel was named a First Team All-Conference midfielder. O'Mahony Blondel had a solid 2025 season, contributing 1 goal and four assists, and the four assists ranked third in the conference. He started 11 games for LMU, logging 973 minutes, and has been a consistent playmaker and leader all season. One highlight was his two-assist performance in the 3-2 comeback win against Catawba, where the team rallied from a 2-0 deficit to secure the victory.

Sokolnicki was named Second Team All-Conference defender. Sokolnicki had a standout freshman campaign for LMU during the 2025 season, starting 14 games and appearing in all 15 matches. He logged 1,249 minutes, playing in nearly every minute for the Railsplitters. Sokolnicki was a dominant presence in the backline, helping anchor the defense throughout the season and contributing to all four shutouts, including a 2-0 shutout against Lenoir-Rhyne and a 1-0 shutout against Anderson.

Martin was named Third Team All-Conference midfielder. Martin was a key contributor in the 2025 season, starting 11 matches and logging 796 minutes. He recorded one goal on the season, which came as the game-winner against Anderson on October 28. That crucial strike temporarily put LMU in first place in the SAC standings but secured a hosting match in the quarterfinals and handed the Trojans their first loss of the season. He was named SAC Offensive Player of the Week once this season.

Benedek Miklosi was named Third Team All-Conference goalkeeper. Benedek Miklosi was a rock in goal for the Railsplitters for the 2025 season, starting all 15 matches and logging almost every single minute (1,345), which leads the conference in goalie minutes played. He recorded 52 saves, ranking third in the conference, with a 73.2% save percentage (5th in SAC), and notched four shutouts, tied for fifth in the SAC. Benedek Miklosi was named SAC Defensive Player of the Week twice this season and posted a career-high 11 saves in a standout performance against Clayton State
