Harrogate, TN – The Lincoln Memorial women's basketball team is looking to sweep the series as they host rival Carson-Newman on Wednesday with tip-off set for 5:30 pm.
Wednesday's match up will be the second time that the two teams will be facing each other this season. The first match was January 8
th in Jefferson City in which the Lady Railsplitters defeated the Eagles – 71-67. The last time LMU and C-N played each other in Harrogate was in January of 2024, where Lincoln Memorial also came out victorious 82-78 in double overtime.
Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 53-62 loss against Coker.
Kamil Collier recorded her 9
th double-double of the season as she scored 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Alexa Smiddy also posted double-digits, scoring 15 points and 5 rebounds.
Currently, Smiddy is leading the team in scoring, averaging 14.4 points per game, with Collier behind her with 13.2 points per game. Collier is the team-leader in rebounds with 9.1 rebounds per game, and
Lexi Patty is second with 4.6 rebounds per game.
