Harrogate, TN -- Kamil Collier of the women's basketball program and Jayden Herman from the men's lacrosse team have been selected as the Co-Juice Spot Railsplitters of the Week following their standout performances on the court and the field this past week.
Collier earned her share of the weekly honor after a dominant stretch of play where she averaged 25 points and 10.5 rebounds across two contests. Her week was highlighted by a spectacular performance against Mars Hill where she notched a career-high 32 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to secure her 17th double-double of the campaign. Collier followed up that effort by leading the Railsplitters to a victory over 12th-ranked Coker, contributing 18 points and nine rebounds to help fuel the win.
On the turf, Herman anchored the defense for the Railsplitters during a pivotal match up against Mount Olive. The goalkeeper turned in a season-high 13 saves while allowing only four goals throughout the duration of the contest. Herman's efficiency in the net resulted in a career-high 76.5 save percentage, providing the defensive stability needed to keep his team competitive and earning him this week's recognition alongside Collier.
