Asia Barr named Juice Spot Railsplitter of the Week

Harrogate, TN -- Lincoln Memorial women's basketball senior guard Asia Barr has been named the Juice Spot Railsplitter of the Week following an exceptional performance in the South Atlantic Conference tournament quarterfinals. Barr led the Lady Railsplitters to a dominant victory over Catawba College at the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center, securing her team a spot in the conference semifinals. The Lebanon, Tennessee, native set a new career high during the contest, serving as the offensive spark plug for a Lincoln Memorial squad that finished the regular season with the second seed in the conference, and first in the region.

Barr was nearly unstoppable from the perimeter during her thirty-three minutes of action, finishing the game with twenty-five points. She displayed remarkable efficiency by connecting on nine of her thirteen attempts from the field, which included a blistering seven-of-ten performance from beyond the three-point arc. In addition to her scoring output, the senior contributed across the stat sheet by hauling in three defensive rebounds, recording two steals, and committing only one personal foul. Her precision from long range was instrumental in the team's success, as she accounted for a significant portion of the Lady Railsplitters' perimeter offense.
