WISE, VA - Lincoln Memorial softball kept rolling in South Atlantic Conference play on Wednesday, sweeping UVA Wise to push its winning streak to 10 games. The Railsplitters took game one 6-1 before rallying for a 6-5 win in the nightcap.

LMU jumped out early in the opener with a three-run first inning and never looked back, adding runs in the third and two more in the fourth to build a 6-0 cushion. Jordann Reagan drove in a game-high three runs, while Nicole Couvertiere delivered a two-run double as part of the early burst. Brooke Strickland set the tone in the circle, working five innings and allowing just one run before Katie Fultz closed the final two frames to finish off the 6-1 win.

The nightcap turned into a back-and-forth battle. UVA Wise plated two in the first and added another in the third, but LMU answered with runs in the first and third to stay within striking distance. After the Cavaliers pushed their lead to 5-4 in the fifth, the Railsplitters responded with a two-run sixth inning to take their first lead of the game and hold on for the 6-5 win. Kristin Griffin led the offense with a three-run homer, and Hanna Bogoski added two RBI. Jasmine Kaylor went 6.1 innings in the start, and Fultz recorded the final two outs to secure the save.

LMU's next series is its final of the regular season, traveling to Wingate for a SAC doubleheader on Apr. 25 at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. in Wingate, N.C.
