Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial men's lacrosse team and head coach Joe Wilson have announced the upcoming schedule for the 2026 season.
This season we will see eight home matches and seven away matches. Four out of the eight home matches will be South Atlantic Conference matches and will be played at LMU Lacrosse Complex, with the other five SAC matches being on the road. In the four seasons that Coach Wilson has led the women's lacrosse team, they have went 10-19 at home and 19-52 overall.
The first month of the 2026 season will be against non conference opponents to prepare for conference play, starting out with their home opener against Wheeling University on February 7th. The team's only road match up of February will be on February 14th against Lander in Greenwood, SC. LMU will then finish out the month with a pair of home games: February 21st against Mount Olive and February 28th against Malone University.
Conference play begins in March as they host Tusculum on March 4th and Catawba on March 7th, both at LMU Lacrosse Complex. Lincoln Memorial will then be on the road as they travel to Hartsville, SC to face Coker on March 14th. The Railsplitters will return home on March 18th for a single match up against Emory & Henry, followed by a road game in Hickory, NC against Lenoir-Rhyne on March 21st. LMU will end the month at home, hosting Alabama-Huntsville on March 28th.
The final month of the regular season begins on the road as Lincoln Memorial travels to Crestview Hills, KY to take on Thomas More on April 1st. The Railsplitters will remain on the road as they face Anderson in Anderson, SC on April 4th. LMU's final home match of the regular season will be on April 11th against Newberry. The last two games of the 2026 regular season will be on the road as they face Wingate in Wingate, NC on April 18th and Mars Hill on April 22nd in Mars Hill, NC.
The quarterfinal matches of the SAC Tournament will be on April 25th-26th and the semifinals will be on April 29th at the higher seed campus sites. The championship match will be on May 2nd in Matthews, NC.
