HARROGATE, Tenn. – After clinching its highest South Atlantic Conference regular-season finish since 2007, the second-seeded Lincoln Memorial women's soccer team aims for its first SAC Championship win since 2013 on Tuesday afternoon when the seventh-seeded Queens Royals invade the LMU Soccer Complex pitch for quarterfinal-round action.
Freshman striker
Jessica Cravero scored her team-leading 14th goal in the 27th minute to send the Lady Railsplitters (11-4, 7-3 SAC) past Newberry 1-0 in the regular-season finale on Saturday. With that win and Anderson's loss at Lenoir-Rhyne, Lincoln Memorial earned the No. 2 seed for the SAC tournament just two seasons removed from a program-worst 3-10-2 effort in 2016. The Lady Railsplitters were predicted to finish ninth in the SAC preseason coaches' poll.
Queens (8-6-1, 4-5-1 SAC) captured a 1-0 win at Mars Hill on Saturday to clinch the No. 7 seed and a date with the Lady Railsplitters for the SAC quarterfinals. The two teams meet less than a week ago, when LMU defeated Queens 1-0 on October 24 in Charlotte, N.C.
Admission for Tuesday's match is $5 for adults, youth (12 and under) and seniors (60 and older), $3 for active and retired military, $2 for college students with ID and free for children under five years old.

- The Lady Railsplitters have posted three consecutive shutouts and lead the SAC in that department with nine this season. - Based on combined points, Cravero and
Itzel Ballesteros make up the most potent forward duo in the SAC. Cravero is ranked third in the league with 32 points on 14 goals and four assists, while Ballesteros is fourth with 24 points on eight goals and eight assists. Series History
-

- That win moved the all-time series to 2-2-2. LMU notched its first win in the series since 2013, snapped a two-game losing streak to the Royals and avenged the worst loss of the
Sean Fraser-era (a 4-0 setback to Queens last season) in the process.
- LMU hasn't beaten Queens at the LMU Soccer Complex since a 2-0 win in 2013.
