Full Schedule

Head coach Alyssa Shaver and the Lincoln Memorial women's lacrosse team have announced their 2023 schedule, which features matches against the other 10 South Atlantic Conference teams in addition to seven nonconference matches.

The Railsplitters begin the season with two home games, first hosting North Greenville on Feb. 8 before taking on Lander on Feb. 11 at the LMU Lacrosse Complex.

Lincoln Memorial follows up the opening week by facing three Florida teams in the span of seven days, the first two being on a trip down to Florida for road matches at Tampa on Feb. 18 and Flagler on Feb. 20. The Sunshine State swing concludes with the Railsplitters hosting Florida Tech on Friday, Feb. 24.

The March schedule begins on the first day of the month with the SAC opener against UVA Wise. Three days later (March 4), the Railsplitters travel to Newberry for the first road conference match of the season. Two nonconference games follow (McKendree on March 12 and at Young Harris on March 15) before concluding the month with SAC contests against Wingate (18th), Coker (25th) and at Tusculum (29th).

Five games are on tap in April to conclude the regular season, including home matches against Lenoir-Rhyne on the 1st, Mars Hill on the 12th and Anderson on the 22nd. Roadtrips to Limestone (April 8) and Catawba (April 15) are sandwiched between the home games.

The Railsplitters are coming off a 2022 season when they went 12-7 (6-4 SAC) and advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament. The 12 wins tied a program record, while the six league wins established a new program standard.

"I am looking forward to my third season with this team," said Shaver. "It has been amazing watching this team change and grow from season to season. The class we brought in is eager to compete and keep growing this program, and the returners are hungry for more success. We have been working extremely hard in the fall season, and Coach Neumann and Coach Saksa have been a huge part of the progress we have made going into the 2023 season."
