Women's Soccer Releases 2022 Schedule

HARROGATE, Tenn. – The Lincoln Memorial University women's soccer team released their schedule for the upcoming fall season Friday afternoon. The Lady Railsplitters will open with three exhibition games in mid-August before beginning their 15-game slate on August 27.

Entering her first full season as the head coach at LMU, Tasha Flynn is challenging her squad throughout the non-conference schedule to get ready for the battle that is South Atlantic Conference women's soccer. Coming off a season in which they went 7-7-2, the Lady Railsplitters will continue to build momentum while facing a schedule featuring eight away games, six home game and one neutral site game.

After three exhibition games in mid-August, the Lady Railsplitters open their season up on August 27 with a trip to Trevecca Nazarene. They then travel to Greensboro, N.C. on August 31 for a neutral site matchup against Mount Olive. The home and conference slate open up on September. 7, as SAC foe Lenoir-Rhyne travel to Harrogate.

The rest of the non-conference schedule has LMU traveling to Columbus State on September 21 and Young Harris on October 19. The remainder of SAC play includes a trip to Limestone on September 10, a home contest versus Anderson on the 17th, an away game against Newberry on the 24th, and they wrap up play in September as they welcome Tusculum to Harrogate on the 28th. October games kick off with a road trip, as the Lady Railsplitters travel to Coker on the 1st and Mars Hill on the 5th. They return home to face Catawba on the 8th before heading right back on the road to take on Carson-Newman on the 12th of the month. The final two conference games are both at home, as Wingate comes in on the 15th and new SAC member Emory & Henry comes to Harrogate to close out the regular season on the 26th.
