McKenzie Henry,

Katie Tuggle all earned mention on the 2023 South Atlantic Conference Softball All-Conference Teams, the league office announced Wednesday.

McKenzie Henry was voted First Team All-SAC at the catcher position, while her sister Madison was part of the Second Team as an outfielder. Frost (pitcher) and Tuggle (designated player) were on the Third Team in a vote of the conference's head coaches.

McKenzie Henry, a graduate student out of Louisville, Tenn., led the Lady Railsplitters in batting average (.378), on base percentage (.512), slugging percentage (.661), OPS (1.173), homeruns (six) and total bases (84) as the team's primary catcher. She was amongst the top SAC batters in sacrifice flies (four, second), hit by pitches (10, third), walks per game (0.56, fourth), doubles (14, ninth) and RBIs (42, 11
th).

Madison Henry, a senior out of Louisville, Tenn., led the team in hits (52) and triples (two) while ranking second in batting average (.347) as Lincoln Memorial's primary centerfielder. This is Henry's third career All-Conference mention after being on the First Team in 2022 and Second Team in 2021.

Frost, a senior from Morristown, Tenn., led all pitchers in the SAC in complete games (21, fifth nationally), games started (26, 11
th), and shutouts (five) while also ranking in the Top 10 in the conference in strikeouts (137, second), wins (17, second) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (5.07, sixth). She now has been voted All-Conference for the third time after also doing so in 2022 (Second Team) and 2021 (First Team and SAC Pitcher of the Year).

Tuggle, a junior from Knoxville, Tenn., finished second on the team in runs scored (37) and sacrifice bunts (seven) and fourth in RBIs (28), splitting her time between catcher and designated player spots in the order. This is Tuggle's first time being voted All-SAC.

The Lady Railsplitters wrapped up the regular season with a 31-22 overall record (15-9 SAC) to earn the No. 3 seed in the upcoming SAC Tournament. Lincoln Memorial will play No. 6 seed Catawba in the first round on Thursday at 1 p.m. in Hickory, N.C.
