Junior striker Leonardo da Silva (Itajuba, Brazil) posted not one, but two game-winning goals this past weekend at the CSU Collegiate Invitational. Da Silva opened the scoring in LMU's 3-0 triumph over Alabama-Huntsville on Friday (9/5) with a goal in the 61st minute. Two days later, the Itajuba, Brazil product notched the lone goal in a 1-0 victory over Shorter, using a Yuri Passos (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) pass to put the Railsplitters in front in the 68th minute.
Da Silva led Lincoln Memorial in shots with 10 in the two-game weekend set, seven more than any other player. He and junior Pedro Villa (New Braunfels, Texas) currently lead the Railsplitters with two goals apiece.
