Sophomore striker Michelle Hunter (Tecumseh, Ontario) scored three goals in two games this past week to lead the Lady Railsplitters to a pair of wins, including their first South Atlantic Conference victory.

Hunter registered her first two-goal performance of the season and the second of her career (10/5/13 vs. Brevard) in a 5-1 win over the Georgetown Tigers Wednesday afternoon at the LMU Soccer Complex. The Tecumseh, Ontario native followed that up by notching the game-winning score in the 26th minute of LMU's 1-0 win over the Newberry Wolves on Saturday.

With the second week of the women's soccer season in the books, Hunter leads the Lady Railsplitters and ranks fourth in the conference in goals with four. The sophomore forward has hoisted 12 shots with six shots on frame. Hunter has piled up 12 goals in the early portion of her career, which is tied with Nicole McKinney for 20th in school history.
