Braden Galyon, Heiskell, Tennessee, helped his Railsplitter golf team achieve greatness throughout his playing career. He was a member of the 2013 South Atlantic Conference Championship Team, the second LMU team to claim the honor.Galyon's capstone season was as a senior in 2015. He completed his career as the LMU program's all-time leader in competitive rounds played with 92. A Ping/NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region team selection as well as a GCAA All-American Scholar, Galyon earned an at large selection to the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional where he wrapped up his career at Lake  Jovita Golf and Country Club with an 82nd-place finish. In 2015, Galyon became the fourth South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Player of the Year in program history. He had wins at the State Farm Intercollegiate and the Tennessee River Rumble and at one point during his senior season, Galyon had five consecutive top-five finishes. Galyon earned All-SAC Second Team honors in 2013. He posted a 75.42 average with a 580-304 win-loss record in 11 events and broke into the top 10 in three tournaments. The All-SAC First Team member in 2014 recorded a 73.64 stroke average and a 643-133 win-loss record in 22 rounds finishing in the top 15 in seven of his 10 events. Today, Galyon is a manufacturing sales rep for Clayton Homes. He and wife Katherine have two children, Payne and Aubrie. He enjoys family time and golf.
