LMU Athletes Hall of Fame
Brittany McCown Simms of Sevierville, Tennessee becomes just the second Lady Railsplitter from women's golf to be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame.
Simms was a standout on the women's golf team from 2009-2013. Simms had an impressive career while golfing with the Railsplitter women's golf team. She held excellent stats for individual scoring in her career, like holding the 2nd-best scoring average 2009-13 (79.8) and 2nd-best win-loss percentage 2009-13 (0.78). While on the team, her lowest round of golf was a score of 70. Throughout the years, she finished top 1 (1), top 5 (9), and top 10 (19) at over 38 events. In 2012 and 2013, Simms was placed on the SAC Conference Championship All-Tournament Second Team.
